Corinth city and Alcorn county schools are closed on Monday

Both Corinth and Alcorn County schools are closed on Monday.

The schools are closed as a result of the devestating storm that blew through the region on Saturday, leaving many still without power.

From Alcorn County school district:

Due to a large portion of the county without power, Alcorn School District will be officially closed tomorrow, October 28, 2019. Staff that work year-round including administrators, maintenance, bus garage, and district office staff should report if conditions permit.
