Booneville Man Arrested After Vehicle Strikes Apartment Complex

On August 23, 2025, Booneville Police Department officers responded to an apartment complex on North College Street after receiving a report of an intoxicated driver who had crashed into the building.

When officers arrived, they detained Conner Brayden McKinley, 20, of Booneville. McKinley was initially charged with one misdemeanor traffic offense.

The case was then turned over to the Criminal Investigation Division (C.I.D.) for follow-up. After further investigation, detectives charged McKinley with one felony count of malicious mischief for the damage caused to the apartment complex.

His bond was set at $5,000 by Booneville Municipal Court Judge Greg Meyer. Officials confirmed the case will be presented to the Prentiss County grand jury.

Police noted that no one was injured during the incident.
