Christmas Day Shooting: Lauderdale County Teen Arrested
A seventeen year old male individual has been arrested in Lauderdale County in connection with a shooting that took place on Christmas Day.
According to Queen City Newsfeed, Shelton Rives, of Dalewood, was taken into police custody on December 25th at 2:20 p.m. He was arrested as the suspect in a shooting that took place in the 8800 block of West Parkway North around 1:35 p.m.
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office stated that Rives has been charged with aggravated assault.
Rives is currently being held on a $15,000 bond at the Lauderdale County Detention Facility.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. More information will be released as it becomes available.
