Former Corinth Teacher to Plead Guilty in Federal Child Sex Crime Case
A former Corinth school teacher is set to plead guilty next week in Oxford to a federal child sex crime.
Wilson Jones is expected to enter a guilty plea to possession of child pornography, a federal offense that carries a potential sentence of up to ten years in prison.
According to court documents, Jones allegedly used artificial intelligence to create sexually explicit images of students without their knowledge.
School administrators reportedly discovered the disturbing material, leading to Jones’ resignation in November 2024. Authorities say local law enforcement was not notified until late February, when the investigation ultimately resulted in his arrest.
Jones will appear in federal court in Oxford next week for his plea hearing.
