Four Arrested in Rienzi for Prentiss County Shop Burglary Case

The Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department has arrested four suspects in connection with a burglary reported at a shop on Highway 365.

On August 22, 2025, deputies received a report of the break-in after the shop owner provided security images of the suspects. Investigator Aaron Stolz later received a lead from the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation that helped identify those involved.

Following further investigation, authorities identified the suspects as Terry Volner, 41, and Siobhan Volner, 45, both of Rienzi, MS; Crystal Nolan, 38, of Counce, TN; and Phillip Gray, 39, of Savannah, TN.

On August 25, deputies from Prentiss County and Alcorn County Sheriff’s Departments executed an operation at a residence in Rienzi, MS, where all four suspects were taken into custody. During intake at the Prentiss County Jail, Phillip Gray was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

On August 26, charges were filed:

  • Terry Volner, Siobhan Volner, and Crystal Nolan were each charged with Burglary of a Commercial Building. Their bonds were set at $50,000 each by Justice Court Judge Ray Hall.
  • Phillip Gray was charged with Burglary of a Commercial Building and Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Correctional Facility. His bond was set at $55,000.

Investigator Stolz, along with North Mississippi Narcotics Agent Grady Smith, will present the case to the next Prentiss County Grand Jury.
