Mississippi linemen has lost arm, hand and faced 8 surgeries after being injured restoring power following Ice Storm
A Tishomingo County lineman is recovering after being seriously injured while working to restore power following a winter storm.
Denny McGuff, an employee of the Tishomingo County Electric Power Association, was electrocuted while on the job during restoration efforts after the recent storm that caused widespread outages across the county.

According to a GoFundMe page organized by family friend Kristy Morgan, McGuff was airlifted to a hospital in Birmingham, where he was initially listed in critical condition. Doctors were forced to amputate his left arm due to the severity of his injuries.
The fundraiser states that following the initial surgery, physicians later had to amputate McGuff’s remaining hand. He has undergone at least eight surgeries and remains not fully responsive as of the latest update.
The GoFundMe campaign was established to assist McGuff and his family as he continues his recovery.
