NEMCC’s MIBEST Program Offers GED and Healthcare Career Training for Single Parents
Booneville, Miss. – August 2025 – Northeast Mississippi Community College (NEMCC) is now accepting applications for its MIBEST Program, offering single parents a pathway to both a high school diploma equivalency (GED) and a career in healthcare.
The program is open to individuals 18 and older who have not yet earned a high school diploma and are interested in entering the healthcare field. Current enrollment options include certification tracks for:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)
Through MIBEST, students can work toward their GED while receiving hands-on training for high-demand healthcare careers. The program also provides tuition scholarships, making this opportunity accessible to those seeking a fresh start or new direction in life.
