Police Investigate Fraud Case Involving Booneville Resident
Booneville, MS – Detectives from the Booneville Mississippi Police Department have initiated an investigation into a complaint lodged against 24-year-old Chase Tyler Teeter of Iuka, MS. According to Booneville Mississippi Police Department sources, the investigation commenced on 05/07/2024 after Mr. Teeter was accused of unauthorized use of a debit/credit card belonging to another individual. Allegedly, Mr. Teeter conducted multiple transactions totaling more than $500.00 at various locations within Booneville.
Authorities apprehended Mr. Teeter on 05/17/2024 following the investigation, charging him with one felony count of fraudulently obtaining goods. The Booneville Mississippi Police Department has set his bond at $5,000.00. Sources have indicated that this case is scheduled to be presented to the Prentiss County grand jury.
Additionally, Booneville law enforcement officials are actively seeking a second suspect in connection with this case. Identified as 21-year-old Lizabeth Nicole Zarate of Dennis, MS, she is currently wanted by authorities.
