Corinth woman arrested for using stolen credit card
A Corinth woman who was alledged to have been caught on camera using a stolen credit card has been located.
From the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department:
On October 28th, 2021 a report was filed with the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department in regards to a wallet being stolen from Walmart in Booneville on October 24th, 2021.
A Debit/Credit card from the wallet was then used at another business on the same date. The victim signed affidavits on the suspect who was identified by a Crime Stoppers tip.
With the assistance of the Alcorn County Sheriff’s Department, Kerri Ann Williams, 36, of Corinth, was arrested on December 6th, 2021 for False ID, Frauduently Obtaining Goods, and Petit Larceny.
Justice Court Judge Trent Moore set Mrs. William’s felony bond at $5,000.00. The misdemeanor bond is set at $1,000.00. Investigator Taylor Walker will present this case to the next grand jury.
