Kare-In-Home gives care packages and holds social distance parade for Alcorn nursing home residents and workers
Kare-In-Home, a Corinth based hospice company, recently visited nursing homes in Alcorn County to help show appreciation for our local nursing home staff and to try and spread some cheer to the local residents.
hey held a social distance parade and gave gift baskets to frontline healthcare workers.
They went to Cornerstone Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Country Cottage, StoneRidge of Farmington, MS Care Center, and Dogwood Plantation where they went around to residents windows and spoke with them through their windows.
“We had signs made letting them know that we missed them,” Branch Director Charity Spencer said.
“We just thought families of these residents would love to know people in the community are thinking of them and thinking outside the box of ways to keep them uplifted and interacting with others during this time of social distancing,” Spencer continued.
