Police seek help identifying suspect in vehicle theft in Tupelo

Tupelo police and Crime Stoppers of North East Mississippi are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a vehicle theft on West Main Street.

On March 24, a victim reported that a white and orange leaf blower was stolen from his vehicle. The suspect reportedly left the scene in a white GMC SUV with a handicap sticker.

Surveillance footage from a nearby business shows the possible suspect as a white male wearing a blue T-shirt and a white hat. Authorities urge anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-773-TIPS or use the P3 Tips app. Tips leading to an arrest could earn a reward of up to $2,000. Crime Stoppers emphasizes that they only want tips, not the caller’s name.
