Booneville man faces drug and trespassing charges after arrest in Prentiss County

Prentiss County Constable Bryon Parker arrested Robert Ernest Tynes, 58, of Booneville on April 8, 2026, at August Circle Apartments for trespassing after notice, authorities said.

During the arrest, officers found Tynes in possession of methamphetamine, according to reports. He was taken into custody and booked into the county jail.

Prentiss County Justice Court Judge Craig Bishop set Tynes’ bail at $5,000. North Mississippi Narcotics Agent Grady Smith will present the case to a grand jury. Tynes was on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections at the time of his arrest.
