The academy will run from April 20 to April 28, meeting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, with an additional session on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The application deadline is April 15, 2026, and forms are available on the department’s website, dps.ms.gov.
The seven-day course offers participants an inside look at law enforcement duties.
