A cold front is forecast to move through the Memphis area early Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Memphis.
The primary threat from the storms will be damaging winds, but there is also a risk of quick spin-up tornadoes and large hail, the agency said. Heavy rainfall associated with the storms could lead to flash flooding in some areas.
