Interstate Closures in Northern Mississippi Due to Ice Removal

Mississippi Department of Transportation crews have closed the northbound lanes of I-55 from Grenada (Exit 206) to Senatobia (Exit 265) and the westbound lanes of I-22 from New Albany (Exit 61) to Holly Springs (Exit 30). The closures are in effect until further notice to facilitate ice removal efforts.

Drivers are advised to avoid these areas and seek alternative routes. MDOT recommends using the free MDOT Traffic app, available on the App Store and Google Play, or visiting MDOTtraffic.com for live updates on road conditions.

MDOT officials have not specified a reopening timeline, but caution drivers to stay informed as conditions may change.
