Mississippi Bureau of Investigation Holds Annual Gathering to Recognize Achievements

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation hosted its 2nd Annual General Assembly, bringing together agents from across the state. The event featured updates from each regional Major, Crime Scene Unit, and Special Operations Group, emphasizing the agency’s ongoing commitment to public safety in Mississippi.

During the gathering, the bureau recognized several individuals for their contributions. Tammy Black was named MBI Support Staff of the Year, while Norman Harris received the MBI Special Agent of the Year award. Harris is part of both MBI District 1 and the FBI Civil Rights Task Force.

The bureau expressed gratitude to all its members for their professionalism and dedication to serving the state. The event aimed to celebrate achievements and reinforce the importance of teamwork in law enforcement efforts across Mississippi.
