Deer season in most of Mississippi concludes Saturday, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks. Hunters are encouraged to enjoy the final day of the 2025–2026 season.
The Southeast Management Unit will remain open until Feb. 15, providing a final opportunity for hunting in that region. Hunters planning to hunt during this extended period should verify bag limits and season dates before heading out, officials said.
