Mississippi DOR’s TAP offers key tools for taxpayers during tax season

The Mississippi Department of Revenue’s Taxpayer Access Point (TAP) offers five key features to help taxpayers manage their tax responsibilities during the season. The online platform allows users to check the status of their income tax refunds with ease, according to the department.

Taxpayers can also make payments directly through TAP, submit requests for address or name changes, view any letters previously mailed to them, and upload required documents. These tools aim to streamline the tax filing process and improve communication between the department and taxpayers.

Individuals are encouraged to register for a TAP account at tap.dor.ms.gov to access these services. The department emphasized that using TAP can simplify various aspects of tax compliance and help taxpayers stay organized during the busy season.
