Mississippi duck season ends with safety reminders and habitat conservation efforts

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks (MDWFP) announced the end of the regular duck hunting season. Officials expressed hope that hunters had a safe and successful season.

MDWFP urged hunters to remember to leave water for ducks and to contribute to wetland habitat development. These efforts support migratory birds passing through Mississippi.
