JACKSON, Miss. — Governor Tate Reeves announced that Mississippi remains actively engaged in responding to a severe winter storm impacting the state. The governor said efforts involve coordination among county, state, federal, and private sector partners.
Reeves confirmed that two additional deaths have been reported in connection with the storm. One of the fatalities occurred in Alco, though further details were not provided.
