The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks is reminding private landowners and managers to register for an upcoming prescribed fire workshop in Tate County.
The workshop will take place on March 6, 2026, at 2600 Jason Patrick Road in Holly Springs. It aims to demonstrate how prescribed fire can improve wildlife habitat and aid in timber management.
Experienced fire practitioners will be present to answer questions and provide guidance during the hands-on event. Registration is required to attend. More information and registration details are available on the department’s website.
