Mississippi quail hunt becomes unforgettable experience at Prairie Wildlife
The Mississippi Outdoors crew traveled to Clay County for a quail hunt at Prairie Wildlife. They used three experienced flush dogs to locate and retrieve game.
As coveys rose and birds broke cover, hunters discussed the trust and bond they share with their dogs. The teamwork was essential for a successful hunt, according to participants.
Throughout the day, the crew also retrieved a pheasant and a banded quail, demonstrating how dog work, timing, and coordination are key to upland bird hunting in Mississippi.
