Mississippi taxpayers who file their income taxes electronically can expect to receive their refunds within seven to 10 business days, according to the Mississippi Department of Revenue.
Taxpayers who file by mail or through other methods typically receive their refunds within six to eight weeks after the department receives their completed return, officials said.
Individuals can check the status of their refunds through the department’s Taxpayer Access Point at https://tap.dor.ms.gov/.
