Mississippi Trapper Harvest Survey Now in Mailboxes

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks has begun mailing the 2025-2026 Trapper Harvest Survey to licensed trappers across the state, department officials announced.

Trappers are encouraged to complete the survey and return it in the prepaid postage envelope provided. The deadline for submission is May 1, 2026, according to department regulations.

Under state rule, failure to complete and return the survey may result in the denial of a trapping license the following year, as outlined in Title 40, Miss. Admin. Code, Pt. 2, Rule 6.1.
