The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks participated in Capitol Day at the State Capitol on Wednesday morning. The event was held in the rotunda and included partners from the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources.
Organizers said the event provided an opportunity to share updates on wildlife and fisheries initiatives, park and museum facilities, and law enforcement recruitment efforts. Attendees expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration and outreach efforts.
The departments highlighted their ongoing projects and engaged with lawmakers and the public to promote awareness of Mississippi’s natural resources.
