The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks (MDWFP) is reminding hunters that the application period for the 2026 Wildlife Management Area Spring Turkey Draw Hunts closes Jan. 31, according to a news release.
Hunters interested in participating can find more information and apply online at the MDWFP website. The agency emphasizes that non-residents planning to hunt public land from March 7 to March 31 must also apply for a Public Land License Endorsement. The application window for this endorsement runs from Jan. 15 to Jan. 31.
