The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks is reminding landowners and managers to register for an upcoming prescribed fire workshop in Tate County. The event is scheduled for March 6, 2026, at 2600 Jason Patrick Road in Holly Springs.
The workshop aims to demonstrate how fire can be an effective tool for habitat enhancement and timber management. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experienced fire practitioners and ask questions about prescribed burning techniques.
