Mississippi wildlife officers honored in promotion ceremony

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks’ Central Region held a promotion pinning ceremony on March 2, 2026, to honor four officers. All four had completed five years of service with the department.

The officers were promoted from the rank of Corporal to Sergeant. They are Sergeant Adam Wright, Sergeant Todd Verry, Sergeant Colby Miggins, and Sergeant Joey Neese. Miggins and Neese were not pictured at the event.

Congratulations were extended to the officers during the ceremony, which recognized their dedication and service to the department and the state of Mississippi.
