Mississippi Wildlife Officials Offer Prescribed Fire Workshops for Landowners
Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks is hosting a series of prescribed fire workshops for private landowners and managers. The events will cover using fire as a tool to enhance wildlife habitat and manage timber resources.
Experienced fire practitioners will be available to answer questions during the workshops, according to MDWFP. The department encourages landowners to register early for these educational sessions.
