NEMCC Adult Education to Reopen Feb. 2 after week-long closure

NEMCC Adult Education will remain closed for the rest of the week and will reopen on Monday, Feb. 2, according to a school announcement. The college encouraged students and staff to return then and expressed enthusiasm about seeing everyone again.

Dorm students are allowed to return to campus. They are asked to check in with their dorm proctor upon arrival and complete a dorm information form to confirm their safety, the college said.

Cafeteria hours are currently breakfast from 8 to 9 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and dinner from 4 to 5 p.m., according to the college’s updates. The Burgess Fitness Center remains open to students and community members.

Officials urged everyone to continue practicing safety measures and to take care of one another, the school added.
