NEMCC awards scholarships to students from Rienzi and Iuka

Two students from northeast Mississippi received scholarships from Northeast Mississippi Community College. Brady Crabb of Rienzi and Madelyn Long of Iuka were awarded the Larry & Trudys Tuckier Scholarship Endowment, according to a college news release.

The scholarship funds are part of the college’s foundation scholarships, which are supported by donations to help students pursue their education. College officials encourage interested individuals to contact Patrick Eaton at dpeaton@nemcc.edu or call 662-720-7165 to learn how to establish a scholarship fund.

The application period for the 2026-2027 academic year is open and will close on March 15. Applicants can submit their applications through the college’s scholarship portal at https://nemcc.awardspring.com.
