North East Mississippi Community College (NEMCC) will host an event called the Exceptional Night of Baseball on March 16 at 5:30 p.m. at The Plex, according to organizers.
The event aims to provide a supportive environment for children in kindergarten and older who face physical or mental barriers that prevent participation in traditional sports. Each child will be paired with an NEMCC athlete to help them enjoy a night of baseball.
Participants can register through a provided link, with the deadline set for February 20. Volunteers and donors are also encouraged to sign up via respective forms to support the event, organizers said.
Organizers expressed enthusiasm for community involvement, inviting people to be part of the special night.
