Anthony Linton, originally from Chicago, has demonstrated that it’s never too late to change your story. His journey to Northeast Mississippi Community College began with a simple conversation, which eventually led to his enrollment in the college’s HVAC program.
As a non-traditional student and graduate of the college’s Adult Education program, Linton has been actively involved in the Honors Institute and Phi Theta Kappa honor society. He encourages others considering returning to school to persevere, saying, “Never give up on yourself.”
His success exemplifies the college’s message that regardless of where someone starts, they can achieve more than they ever imagined, officials said. Linton’s story highlights the opportunities available for adult learners at Northeast Mississippi Community College.
