Northbound I-55 lanes reopen from Batesville to Sardis in Mississippi

The northbound lanes of Interstate 55 from Batesville (Exit 243) to Sardis (Exit 252) are now open, officials said. Crews continue to work in the area, but drivers can now travel through that stretch of highway.

For additional updates on road closures and traffic conditions, motorists are advised to check with the Mississippi Department of Transportation.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol issued the update and urged drivers to stay safe on the roads.
