Northeast Mississippi Community College Announces Cheer Clinics and Tryouts

Northeast Mississippi Community College has announced its upcoming cheer clinics and official tryouts for the 2026-2027 season. The college encourages students interested in joining the cheer team to participate in the clinics and tryouts scheduled over the next few months.

The cheer clinics will be held on Feb. 22 at 2 p.m., March 22 at 2 p.m., and April 9 at 4 p.m. The official tryout is set for April 12 at 2 p.m. Tumbling skills are preferred but not required, and a mascot spot is also available.

College officials are actively recruiting male athletes to join the cheer team. Those with questions are advised to contact Coach Moore via email at cgmoore@nemcc.edu.
