Northeast Mississippi Community College Celebrates Kossuth Cheer Team’s National Title

The Kossuth National Champion Cheer Team visited Northeast Mississippi Community College on Tuesday, where they received a warm welcome from college officials. President Dr. Ricky G. Ford and Vice President of Institutional Advancement Patrick Eaton greeted the team and surprised each member with a $50 bookstore shopping spree, according to college officials.

College representatives also treated the team to dinner and recognized their achievement at halftime of the Lady Tigers game. College officials praised the cheerleaders for their hard work, dedication, and heart throughout the season, which culminated in a national championship victory.

“We are genuinely proud of these young women,” said Dr. Ford. “Their success reflects their commitment and the support of their coaches and families. We celebrate their accomplishments and look forward to their future endeavors.”
