Northeast Mississippi Community College softball has jumped from unranked in the NJCAA preseason poll to No. 14 in the first regular-season rankings, according to the NJCAA.
The Tigers will host doubleheaders at The Plex on Friday and Saturday, facing Arkansas State Mid-South and Wabash Valley at noon each day, the school announced.
Fans are encouraged to come out and support the team during the weekend series, which marks an early highlight of their season.
