Prentiss County man charged with firearm possession by felon
Prentiss County sheriff’s deputies responded to a disturbance at 1 County Road 1020 on Feb. 1, 2026, according to sheriff’s officials.
Deputy Ethan Hester arrived at the scene and made contact with Tristan Bryant Fugitt, 23, of Booneville, authorities said. Fugitt was found to be in possession of a firearm and is a convicted felon, officials added.
Fugitt was charged the next day with possession of a weapon by a felon. His bond was set at $7,500 by Justice Court Judge Craig Bishop. The case will be presented to the next Prentiss County grand jury by investigator Aaron Stolz, officials said.
