Prentiss County man charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse involving minors
The Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department announced the arrest of Michael Lee Hudson, 43, of Booneville, on multiple charges stemming from allegations of sexual abuse involving minors.
Following an investigation, affidavits were signed, leading to Hudson’s arrest. He faces two counts of statutory rape, two counts of sexual battery, and three counts of promoting prostitution of a child, according to authorities.
Craig Bishop, justice court judge, set Hudson’s bond at $1.25 million, cash or professional bond only. The investigation remains active, and Investigator Torie Jumper is expected to present the case to the next Prentiss County grand jury.
Investigators Aaron Stolz and Kolby Knight are assisting with the case, which is still ongoing, authorities said.
