An in-person storm spotter training class is scheduled for Tuesday in Nesbit, Mississippi, according to the DeSoto County Emergency Operations Center.
The session will start at 6 p.m. at the emergency operations center, providing residents with information on identifying severe weather and safety procedures.
Participants are encouraged to attend to enhance their preparedness for upcoming storms, officials said.
