Temperatures to Rise Further Above Normal Into the Weekend

Temperatures are expected to continue rising above normal levels into the upcoming weekend, according to weather forecasts.

By Friday, much of the Mid-South has at least a 60% chance of experiencing high temperatures warmer than 80 degrees Fahrenheit. This trend is expected to become more likely into next week.

Officials advise residents to prepare for the warmer conditions and stay hydrated during the prolonged period of above-average temperatures.
