Tishomingo, Rienzi students awarded Coke of Corinth Scholarships
Two students from North East Mississippi Community College have been awarded scholarships from the Coke of Corinth Fund. Levi Lovelace of Tishomingo and Haven Alvis of Rienzi received the awards, which are funded through donations to support student education, according to college officials.
The scholarships are part of the college’s foundation offerings, aimed at helping students continue their degrees. College representatives encouraged interested individuals to contact Patrick Eaton at dpeaton@nemcc.edu or call 662-720-7165 to learn how to establish a scholarship fund.
The application period for the 2026-2027 academic year is now open and will close on March 15. Students can apply online at https://nemcc.awardspring.com, officials said.
During a recent event, college President Ricky Ford, along with representatives including Randy Humphreys, Dennis Dilworth, and Patrick Eaton, congratulated the scholarship recipients. The event also highlighted ongoing efforts to support student success, officials added.
