An unsettled weather pattern is forecast to bring showers and thunderstorms to the Mid-South beginning Wednesday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters advise residents to carry umbrellas through Saturday as the pattern persists. Winds are also expected to remain gusty, reaching up to 35 mph through Thursday.
The weather change comes after a period of calmer conditions, with officials urging caution during the gusty winds and storm activity.
