Scam Alert from Corinth Police Department

They have had reports of scammers calling and claiming social security numbers have been compromised and used in illegal activity.

The caller then sends a picture of a badge, claiming to be an officer and requests payment with gift cards.

They stated **This is NOT how Law Enforcement Officers do business! DO NOT send any money or gift cards and DO NOT give out any personal information!
