Alcorn County chase leads to arrest in Hardeman County after multi-day search
HARDMAN COUNTY, Tenn. — A vehicle pursuit that began in Alcorn County, Mississippi, ended with an arrest in Hardeman County, Tennessee, after the suspect evaded law enforcement for several days, according to the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities said the pursuit started Friday evening in Alcorn County before crossing state lines into Hardeman County. The driver abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot after entering Tennessee, temporarily avoiding capture.
After an extensive search involving multiple agencies, deputies located and arrested the suspect, identified as Casey Wilson of Adamsville, on Wednesday morning several miles from where the foot pursuit began, officials said.
The sheriff’s department thanked assisting agencies and the public for their cooperation and patience during the multi-day search.
No injuries were reported, and no additional details about potential charges have been released.
