The Northeast Winter Guard finished second in the IA Class at the Mississippi Indoor Association competition, claiming the title of top college guard in the state, according to the team.
The team, with a record-breaking 27 members, performed despite challenging weather and tough conditions. Their routine was described as memorable by organizers.
Coach John Smith credited the team’s dedication, talent, and perseverance for their success. “They pushed through rain and difficult circumstances to deliver a strong performance,” he said.
Northeast Winter Guard continues to grow as part of the Mississippi Indoor Association. The program encourages new members to join and be part of a winning, developing team, according to school officials.
