Alcorn County has been added to the list of Mississippi counties added to the latest Federal Emergency Declaration.
This is from the storms that came through the area earlier this year. This will help with public assistance in reimbursement grants to local governments and non-profit organizations for things like damage to infrastructure, debris removal and overtime to responders.
The assistance can be used for the following:
A: Debris Removal B: Emergency Protective Measures C: Roads and Bridges D: Water Control Facilities E: Buildings and Equipment F: Utilities G: Parks, Recreational Facilities and Other Items
