On March 13th, 2023 Deputy Jason Moore took a report from a complainant of a possible molestation that had taken place within Prentiss County. Investigators Torie Jumper and Jason Chism were contacted. After speaking to the child, the parent filed charges based on the allegations that came out during the Investigation and warrants were issued. On March 14th, 2023 Billy Ray McDonald (74) of Baldwyn was arrested and charged with two counts of Molesting (Touching A Child for Lustful Purposes). His bond was set at $100,000.00 with a no contact order in place. The case will be presented to the next Prentiss County Grand Jury.
