Booneville Woman Charged with Meth Possession
On October 3rd, 2024, a Booneville woman was arrested at a business off of North Second Street and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Patrol officers responded to the scene at the unnamed business, where a report had been made of shoplifting. Once upon the scene, officers encountered Virgina Rosesue Scroggins, age thirty one, of Booneville.
According to a press release from Booneville Police Department, while officers were conducting the investigation, they discovered Scroggins was in possession of a felony amount of alleged methamphetamine.
Scroggins was arrested, and her case was subsequently transferred to the Criminal Investigation Division.
Scroggins was charged with one felony count of possession of methamphetamine, more than 1/10th of a gram, but less than 2 grams.
Scroggins’s bond was set at $5,000.
