Man and Woman Arrested in Booneville, Charged with Burglary

On October 3, 2024, detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division of Booneville Police Department responded to a reported disturbance and arrested two suspects.

According to a press release from Booneville Police Department, a disturbance was reported at the August Circle residential complex. After investigating, the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) detectives arrested a man and a woman.

George Lacleave May, age twenty two, of Booneville was arrested and charged with one felony count of burglary- breaking into a dwelling with intent to commit assault.

Cecila Marie Fitch, age thirty seven, of Booneville was also arrested. Fitch was charged with two counts of burglary- breaking into a dwelling with intent to commit assault.

May’s bond was set at $20,000. Fitch’s bond was set at $40,000.

The case will be presented to a Grand Jury of Prentiss County.
